The Seaview Restaurant now offers on online table booking service.

The kitchen, lead by Head Chef John Swartz, prepares, original and delicious seafood plates cooked to order. Relax and enjoy this seaside experience, whilst absorbing the vibrant atmosphere of this award-winning restaurant.

We have dining available over two floors with a stunning outdoor terrace, with views straight out to the dramatic coastline of Huntcliff. Our ground dining room is small and intimate, which overlooks the action, and is suitable for up to 32 guests as individual bookings or as one large group. Our upper floor dining area allows you to take in the stunning coastline scenery with panoramic floor to ceiling views, which allows an unforgettable and memorable dining experience.

We take reservations for lunch and dinner in our upstairs dining area only. No reservations are taken for downstairs or outside so please feel free to join us without a reservation and we’ll find you a table as soon as we can. Please be aware we may require your table back 1 hour and 45 minutes later.

Group Booking Policy

A ‘Group Booking’ is defined as any party of 8 or more to a maximum of 16 people: Main Restaurant – up to 16 guests with non-exclusive use of whole Dining Room All Group Bookings require a £10 per person deposit to secure the reservation. All numbers must be confirmed and deposits paid a minimum of 7 days prior to the reservation, unless otherwise agreed with The Seaview Restaurant ltd, or the reservation may be cancelled. All group bookings remain provisional until the full deposit is paid. In the case of Special Events, the deposit amount is advertised on individual event information. For Christmas period bookings (1st-31st December) we reserve the right to request payment at the time of booking or by 15th November, unless otherwise agreed with The Seaview Restaurant Ltd.

At any point, should we receive a second request for the same date/time/table as an unsecured booking, all deposits must be settled within 24 hours. Failure to do so may result in the booking being released to the second party. The Seaview Restaurant Ltd will attempt to make contact by either telephone or email to inform of a second enquiry, which must be responded to within 24 hours to avoid your booking being released to the second party. Deposit Payments – Payment in pounds sterling can be paid via BACS, credit or debit card. For all information regarding invoices please contact the office on 01287 626585. Menus – Please note the whole group must order from the same menu. If your party has chosen a Group Menu, this must be communicated 72 hours in advance.

All menus are subject to change without prior notice. All dietary requirements must be communicated 72 hours before your booking. Cancellations – If a Group Booking is cancelled or postponed within 72 hours of the original booking date, The Seaview Restaurant Ltd reserves the right to retain the full deposit with no refund, or at its discretion, to transfer the deposit amount to an alternative booking. Customer Care – Any queries regarding your meal, service, or payment must be brought to our attention at the earliest opportunity, and in any case, prior to your departure from the restaurant. Should there be any matter you wish us investigate subsequent to your departure, including any potential billing errors, these should be brought to our attention within 4 days.

GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS Table Allocations – Please note that The Seaview Restaurant Ltd cannot guarantee any specific table in the Restaurant. Whilst we will endeavour to honour any requests made by a customer, there will be occasions when tables cannot be held back for operational reasons and we therefore reserve the right to change table allocations up to the time of seating. ‘No Show’ Policy – We will hold a booking for up to 20 minutes beyond the original booking time to allow for unforeseen circumstances and may attempt to contact the booker via any contact details given.

After 20 minutes, we reserve the right to reallocate the table to a waiting customer or cancel the reservation. We respectfully ask that you inform us if you anticipate arriving late or if you no longer require the reservation.

Access Statement

The Seaview Restaurant Ltd is committed to providing reasonable access for those with disabilities to its Restaurant facility. In this statement, we have attempted to accurately describe the facilities offered to visitors to enable visitors to judge for themselves the suitability in line with their own access needs.

Restaurant Access for those with physical disabilities is available via the main entrance on the promenade. Cars can be parked in the public car park to the side of the Restaurant, whilst wheelchair users or those with restricted mobility are exiting a vehicle and there is level access from the car park to the front of the building. Please note the pay and display car park itself contains some uneven surfaces. Alternative pay and display parking is available at Cat Nab 40m further away. There is free parking on the upper promenade with access provided to the lower promenade via the cliff lift. The outward opening front doorway is sufficiently wide (over 90cm) for normal wheelchairs and there is also a ‘2 x disabled’ toilets, refurbished to current standards, located on the lower and upper floors. Automatic lift allows access to the upper floor. There is no change in level on the ground floor, only a small rug as you enter this area. Diners would usually make a reservation for the Restaurant and, at this time, it is possible to plan table allocations to create sufficient space for a wheelchair. Waiter/waitress service is available from the bar directly to the table, and there is background music throughout the building. Menus are changed quite often and it is not therefore possible to provide a Braille menu.

However, with adequate notice, a special large print menu could be provided. Dishes can also be modified for ease of eating on request, and we can cater for all dietary needs with notice. Trained assistance dogs are permitted within the Restaurant. Travelling to The Seaview Restaurant – Our postcode for Satnav purposes is TS121HQ. The nearest railway station is Saltburn, which is located in the town centre with a 5 min walk to the restaurant. Additional Information The nearest hospital with an A&E Unit is Redcar. The closest GP’s surgery is Huntcliff Surgery, Bath Street, Saltburn, TS121BJ.
