The Seaview Restaurant

The sea and the fishermen dictate our menu. We never compromise on quality or sustainability’.

Executive Chef Craig Sherrington, Head Chef Craig Morton and the team truly make the magic happen in the kitchen. Their all-day menu, served from 11.30am to 8.30pm (last orders for food) features everything from crab fritters and BBQ prawns as snacks; crab rarebit, scallops and moules as starters and a range of mains that with tantalise the taste buds. They include lobster thermidor, halibut with caramalised cauliflower; hake kiev with crab and garlic butter as well as our house-hung sirloin. Seaside staples such as fish and chips and Whitby scampi are also available.


This restaurant has fantastic sea views. The decor is a delight, comfy chairs, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. This fish and chips was delicious and the service friendly and efficient. Kristy our waitress was a gem, nothing was too much trouble. All four of us came away knowing we would be back.

My husband & I called in here for an impromptu fish & chip tea. We were welcomed by a lovely member of staff and shown to the upstairs restaurant. It was contemporary meets nautical in style, which worked really well. It looked out over the sea, hence the name, which gave it added charm. We both had cod and chips which were hot and cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for not only it’s food but for its surroundings, style and ambience.
